How fast can Aegis Records Management deliver a document?

We’re fast! We can deliver a document within 1 hour or less in the greater Nanaimo area.

Most of our clients however use our next day delivery service. What this means is if a client requests delivery of a document it’s queued into our daily routing and delivered the next morning.

The same process works for our pickups when clients are finished with their documents and want them back in storage.

How does Aegis’ shredding service work?

We provide you with an efficient and cost effective alternative to shredding papers and other materials such as disks, CD’s etc. yourself.

For most of our business clients we have a regular pickup schedule. Each business is given a secure shredding bin that blends into the office and is used to collect the paper to be destroyed. At a predetermined time or on demand, we come to your office and empty that secure bin. The paper is immediately transported to our secure facility and shredded. Once destroyed you are given a certificate of destruction for your records.

Our shredding services are not limited to a regular pickup schedule or require you to use a secure shredding console. Maybe you have a few file boxes, or maybe it’s a garbage bag either way we will pick up your shredding on demand and for any amount.

You can also drop your shredding off at our facility by appointment.

What does Aegis do with the shredded paper?

As part of promoting a sustainable future in our community we recycle all of the paper we shred.

When shredded, your documents come out as confetti the size of your thumbnail. These little pieces are then mixed with thousands of tones of other little pieces and delivered to a local recycler.

This paper is then turned into recycled paper products!
